ATKK-BZ-I-006
- Description
A manuscript with notes for Krzysztof Kieślowski's film "I was a soldier" (1970). Before the film had this title, the work was carried out under the working titles "One world for all" and "The Blind". The film was made together with Andrzej Titkow, a colleague of the director from the Film School in Łódź. Production took place outside the parent Documentary Film Studio, at the "Czołówka" Film Studio. The note is a commentary on the lack of naturalness in the behavior of the characters when the director needed time for technical operations on the camera - an hour to set up the camera and 5-7 minutes to change the 35 mm tape cassette - right after meeting the soldiers in their apartments. Non-standard format - a sheet of paper is less than 1_2 of the entire sheet.
